I had this pair for almost 10 months. they've been a "pair" for about 8 months.
Recently (a couple of weeks ago) they started hosting my anemone.
today I saw the male cleaning an area under the anemone. he bits things off of it, does the weird shaking thingy on it and seems to be keeping the area clean. the female goes in there every couple of minutes. I can't see into the area they're doing this in, so I don't know if there's eggs.
Does this mean they're getting ready to lay eggs?

and here's the male in the little "valley" in the rock cleaning it.

I'd say that's mating behavior. Keep an eye on them. Man you have alot of flow. I don't know if they would be able to successfully lay / fertilize eggs with that much flow. Why so much?

My b&w clowns have been displaying mating behavior for months... but I've yet to see any eggs. Hope you get some... but don't expect it.

yeah.... I know that in the DT they won't be able to successfully hatch the eggs if they do lay it. but I was just hoping they'd lay eggs that way I know that I can take them out and start breeding them.
I have quite a bit of flow in there, about 100x or so. I'm running 4x6101 and 2xMP40w, it's mostly sps (90% or so).

How's your clowns doing?? I assume you still raising hundreds of little ones??
just out of curiosity...... say if some one was to ship eggs overnight, will they still be alive and can they still hatch??

Wow. I don't have nearly that much flow. I'm always blowing the flesh off my sps. My clowns are doing great thanks. I have lots of clowns yes. Probably 5-600 now. No shipping them overnight would kill them for sure. Good luck with yours!
