how to catch a coris wrasse?

help...I have someone to purchase my 7 inch coris wrasse...however when we tried to catch him of course he went under the sand....any ideas? besides taking the whole tank down????

if you see him in the sand, you can just scoop him out with the sand. Although I can catch my yellow coris wrasse (which isnt in the coris genus, so I'll refer to it as the golden wrasse I supposed) with my hand at night, as it's pretty dumb while sleeping.
