Xanthichthys auromarginatus (bluethroat trigger)

I'm thinking of purchasing this fish. I was wondering if i could get some info and if anyone would i share some pics, that would be great!

Also, is there a big difference in a male vs. female. i have heard that the male (like most fish) looks different then the female....is this true? and is there a diiference between a juv. vs adult?

Male has better colors, and a blue throat.

I have also heard that they are not very aggressive out of the triggers.....is that true

Yes. They aren't very aggressive.

my bluejaw was very passive, i would not recommend putting him with other triggers. mine was also easily startled and jumped out of the tank a few times.

these fish get up to a foot long and are very active. even a 6-8 inch bluejaw will need a 6 foot tank, IMO.
