Hello
I have a 50 * 24 * 22 (height) tank with sps and lps
I have a dilemma concerning water movement.
Should I go on a single controllable 6105 or on a pair of controllable 6055?
Thanks

I would do at least 2 tunze 6105. You won't see much action with 2 x 6055

Agreed... I used to run a pair of 6000s on my old 120 with a similar footprint and was quite happy with it and had approx 1200-1500 gph thru my sump at the time. The 6105 on the lower voltage setting is very similar in strength and can be of course speed can be set higher depending on your liking.

Ok....
Any other idea for Tunze water movement configuration?

Thanks

I really think the 2 x 6105 is your best option in the long run. You could always get one now and add another later. And use other pumps you have for now to get flow in all areas of the tank until you do.

Couple other options
6105 and a 6055 but I think the flow would end up lopsided possibly even if the return is on the side of the 6055.

I would do 3 or if not 4 x 6055s like I am currently running but higher or same cost.

You could do a 6105 and a 6065 and put the 6065 on something like 15-30 minute cycles and the 6105 on a single controller. But the 2x6105s would give you more control on the currents in the tank.

Thanks man!
can I run the 6065 on a mechanical timer?

You can but the interval no shorter than 15mins.
