I am planning to get a phosphate kit ASAP, and I was wondering if vodka would be a good way to keep it down. I have a bit of every coral, a sabae anem, some serpent stars, a cleaner shrimp, a LMB, a YWG, a pair of firefish, a pair of clowns, a yellow wrasse and I am getting a small lamerack angel today (along with the sabae nem, they should be here by 3).

the main tank is a 75g and the sump/fuge is a 40br. what dosage should I use to keep them down? thanks!

Instead of dosing vodka you may want to consider running GFO in a TLF reactor to keep phosphates down.

Or do both :) The bac that is fueled by vodka also sucks up Nitrates as well.
