Red Sea Max 130

Set up my RSM 130 over a week ago wih the supplied Coral Pro salt and RO/DI water. My water is cloudy, almost looks like smoke swirling around in there. I have not added sand.. Only RO/DI and the supplied salt. No micr bubbles, just looks like smoke. I shut everything down overnight and no sediment or change in cloudyness.. Any clues?

Would you check the TDS on your RO water?

That happened to me too i just bought and set up a Red Sea max 130 3 days ago. Water was sooo cloudy but my lfs let me borrow one of thier hob marine land filters that they use on thier red sea max's till it clears up. and i woke up today and its alot better than before. i added some live rock and now just wait and test wait and test for me. lol

and why did it get so cloudy and stay cloudy?
the lfs sounded surprised when i told them it stayed so cloudy..
