is it ok to keep the tank around 73-76degree?

if you're keeping animals that are from Indo-Pacific or Caribbean, then that's getting pretty low. get a decent heater and set it to 80 or so

I agree, people run tanks at room temp but is well below the average temp of the world's reef waters.

I wouldn't recommend it. As with unusually high temps, unusually cold temps are a known cause of coral bleaching. These temps, especially at the lower end are unusually cold. Most corals would certainly tolerate 73 degrees for a few hours to days, but long term it's not a good idea unless you're keeping suptropical species.

I wouldn't recommend going lower than 76 in the wintertime.
