Guys quick question how much estimated for weight on a 225g glass tank. dont need to be presice just ball park figure.

300 pounds? 400? 500?

This is a guess but 300 feels kinda low for my 210. I'd say 400ish

Find the area of the glass and thickness to be used Determine the mass by density of material if the square foot weight is not available.

I found a chart on aga tanks and it says for their 210 the empty weight is 343 lbs. Heres the link (http://www.aqueonproducts.com/assets/011/19784.pdf) if you want to check it out just to give you an idea.

Well I "guess" if someone wanted to take the easy way out.....that would work. But why when we can really make it difficult by doing it that other guys way........Density....what is he thinking?

the glass is 1/2 all around its made by Leemar.
