what skimmer uses a max-jet 900

hey guys im e-mailing a guy about buying a 75 gallon setup and he has no idea what he has or anyhting all he has to tell me is that his lighting system is a 2 bulb and they cost 60 bucks apiece and that he dont no what kinda skimmer it is but the pump on it is a max-jet 900 thanks

maybe seaclone but that kind of pump on a skimmer that size tank is useless

I use a maxi jet 900 as a feed pump for my turbofloater on my 225 but it just feeds it and a mag recirculates it.

i think i will still buy it thought i made him a lower offer hey only wants 200 for 75 gallon tank. what ever the ights are what ever the skimmer is. sand, rock, a starfish and someother type fish. he said it has a chip in a corner but doesnt leak and it is up and running but i plan on giving all livestock to my lfs and taking ti apart and doing it right.

my lfs is dead set on selling me a H&S 90 or somethign liek that for $309.00 i now H&S is one of the best but is there anywhere i could find them any cheaper?

the MSX line or ASM are good model skimmers and well priced.
i found an asm3 knock off for 100 bux and it skimms like the best of them

o.k. another question i got is i found a guy that has a 250 watt de hqi metal halide reef star pendant that is brand new for $100 bucks no i would have to buy another one but is this a good pendant?

I don't like the light coverage it gives. Kinda the spot light effect. But for 100 bucks... Can't beat that. Plus is has little dimples in the reflector (like a golf ball) which gives it really nice gliter lines. What temp is the bulb? 14k?
