Black or Clear Silicone?

Building my new tank now just wondering if people prefer black or clear silicone and why? what are the pros and cons of both?

I honestly don't have a preference, I have tanks with both and it doesn't seem to make any asthetic difference as they will both end up covered in coralline.

yea after a while you wont know what color it was,all a matter of preference and availability

just wondering dose the clear silicone turn white after some time?

I just like the look of the black silicon it seems to "frame" a tank.
