Is there a way to connect the III to a mac or is it just an online access? I am trying to control 2 tanks and would like to have access to things online?

Thanks
Mark

I don't follow the question. The AC3 is an IP enabled device. A serial cable isn't required like the Jr. You could plug a dozen AC3's into your network at home and access them all if you'd like. It doesn't matter if you have Linux, Wincrap, or a MAC. The AC3 is accessible via the webpage to all, not "connected to" your actual machine.

Now if you're trying to use AquaNotes, as far as I'm aware it's only available for one platform unfortunately.

Thanks for the answer. I thought that it had to be connected via a serial cable which my computer does not have. Thanks for the clarification.

I run Aquanotes on my mac inside of Parallels virtualization of Windows Vista.
It may not be the most seamless way to do it, but there are just some things you can't do on the web interface and hence require Aquanotes.

Hey RokleM,

Can I do my AC3 firmware update via my Mac for the Aquasurf? I posted this question with no responses thus far in another thread?

Any knowledge in this regard?

Thanks

Honestly, I don't have a mac so I'm not sure. I don't think I've seen firmware released in anything but Winblows form.
