So, I noticed this thing growing on the shell of my clam. It seems to have no effect on the clam directly, but it excretes slime all over the place. It's stuck to the side and slowly growing. It's been there for a little while, but the clam has been open and growing as usual.

just an update, someone told me it was a vermetid snail. They normally grow on LR and send out slime to catch food. They're harmless aside from possible irritation from the slime, but he will be gone soon. I'm going to fill the opening of the shell with super glue and see how it goes.

Super glue worked for me the one i had on my clam was twice as big. The bigger they get the more irratating they are. good luck.

I just covered it in glue tonight. That thing could hold a good bit, haha. It should be toast now
