Hey, all.
One of my VHO lamps burnt out and having a 9 MO I don't want to drive the 2 hours to get a replacement tomorrow. Will an Icecap 440 fire a T12 HO from the hardware store until I can get a replacement? Just running the halides isn't doing it for me visually.
Also, is it normal for none of the lamps to fire when one in sequence is burnt out? I am fairly sure it's a burnt lamp, the ballast was working perfectly and I can see one of the lamp ends looks dark inside. If it is normal, how can I run the Icecap with only the 2 remaining lamps?
