Both my leathers (toadstools) in my tank are shrunken up and covered in a brown slime. It seems to be eating away at the flesh and is only located on the head of the corals.
I'm thinking its a bacterial infection. All params are good, and no other corals are affected.
Does anyone have any diagnosis or possible treatments?
Appreciate it

You could dip them. Where are they in the tank? How long have they been in there?Give us some more details

Pics and water parameters would help, but by the sound of it, a dip would be a good starting point, and possibly more water flow to help it shed the slime and dying tissue.

Water parameters are good. Its not my coral, but a friends so i cant get pics. I could dip the one, the other is the size of a basketball. I will try adjusting the flow as well.
Thanks

make sure you have them in good flow cause leathers shed alot and if they cannot shed properly they will melt. keep some decent flow on them.
