Does temp matter during cycling?

If my waters been mixed running for about 1 day now, and I have 60lbs of LS in the bottom is temp a big deal or can I just throw my LR in and be good? I don't have a heater right now, but water is about room temp, maybe less,

reason asking is because there is a very good deal on LR local to me, and I wanted to get some before they ran out. let me know

i would assume you do not want to have big temp swings. The live rock will have it's fair share of die-off on its own, why not just grab a heater and throw it in to be sure? your going to need one on the setup anyways...
