Parameters are in check, other fish seem fine but the Kole Tang's color looks faded. He's cruising around nibbling and acting normal. Anyone know what's up? Looks like he does when the lights first come on but he's been like this for two days.

Fading color usually means sickness. Sorry. I would quarantine him.

Just a temperament thing in most cases, if it's still acting normally and has no other visible issues I wouldnt add more stress by QT. How long have you had it in the tank, and what other fish are in with it?

I agree with crvz, my Kole look faded for quite a while when he was always battling with his own reflection. Once his aggression calmed down and he settled in, his coloration returned to normal. How long has the Kole been in the tank and what are his tankmates ?

what are you feeding him? tangs will lose their color if their diet isnt up to par. The food they eat help their color.

The tang was moved from a 75 to a 135 three weeks ago. His tanks mates are:

Royal Gramma
Lawnmover Blenny
Scooter blenny
2- juvenile maroons (spend ALL of their time in a BTA)
Yellow headed goby
Bangai cardinal

All of the fish are less than 3 inches. The Kole is the biggest fish.

He is constantly kissing the glass and rocks and eats mysis and brine with gusto. He also eats Nori. Seems like since I put him in the 135 he has been this way.

I agree, just give it a little time. The new tank change is probably affecting it, and if its eating well I surely wouldnt do anything to cause further stress.
