My Aqua Controller 3 Pro display started scrolling the info across the display all of a sudden. How can I make it static again? Tried re-powering it, etc and it still scrolls. Thanks!

Didn't see anything in the commands that would change it and all the info should fit on a non-moving screen.

If the number of characters that need to be displayed is greater than the width of the display it scrolls. Assuming a standard configuration, the most likely reason for the scrolling is the pH is reading over 10.

You got one of the "New" units, I wanted the one with the scrolling display but could not wait for it...:eek1:

OK - just got the brand new pH lab grade probe with new calibration fluid. I tried calibrating it about 10 times per the instructions with pH 7 and 10 soln as instructed. Every time it settles and I push the final select button it says "probe defective" and resets. Wont calibrate. Tried every possible setting combination. What gives? Defective probe? There seems to be very little difference in the number the 7 and 10 solution settles at, and yes they were brand new packages of calibration solution. Thanks for the help!

It does sound like the probe has a problem. If this is a 3 Pro, then be sure to put both the temperature probe & the pH probe into the calibration solution or the probe will not calibrate. The temperature probe serves as the ground reference on this 3Pro.
