i bought a used culligan ro system from my brother,all the connections are self explanatory except 1 that has a circle with an arrow pointing to it,any ideas?

You need to provide some pictures or a better explaination. Normally you will have 3 lines entering or exiting a RO unit. The first one is the tap water inlet which should be going into the prefilter cannister which then travels into a carbon cannister and from there up to the end of the RO membrane housing with a single line in it. From there the treated water exits the other end of the membrane housing through the fitting which is normally closer to the center of the end and the waste stream exits closer to the outside edge of that same end.

thanks for the help,i'm at work now so i'm doing this from memory.there's a picture of the holding tank, a picture of the output faucet for the good water and a pic of the drain trap for the bad water, a pic of water in a cup that i thought was good water in? and the >o symbol
