A koralia nano is going to be WAY too much flow for the tank. It isn't so much that the GPH is too much, but that you won't have the room for the flow to spread out before klobering everything in the tank. I know this because I have a 3 gallon tank and tried putting a koralia nano in it. Overall, the flow was great, except for about 80% of the livestock that got the most direct flow.

I got a small submersible pump and hooked it up to my cheapo HOB filter, unplugged the filter, and adjusted the pump to the max flow for the tank.

The koralia is nice since is dispursed the flow, it isn't very direct and strong. If you think it is right all the better, otherwise a HOB would provide flow as well.

The maxi jet I have pointing up and around so most of the water flow goes around.
