My output is about half of the maximum because of the smaller size nozzle and plumbing .If I was to change for the bigger size nozzle on the output of the pump and therefore changing the plumbing to a bigger size,would that give me more flow?

yes, the less restrictions you have the better.

you could go from the out put size to 1 inch no problem
