how high up can i put my mico in my tank
my tank is 30 inches tall 2X250 mh 65k and 2 110 vhos
i know i can't put it at the top but could i slowly bring it up to the middle i only want to do this so feeding is easier

I keep mine about 8 inches from the top directly under 400 watt bulbs. They seem to tolerate or even like the light more than acans, and most other Lps.

i keep mine mid tank under 250's and they look great.

Not sure how high you can keep them, but I have 2 small colonies at the bottom of my tank, about 27" from the bank of T5 bulbs I overdrive with icecap ballasts. They seem to be doing well.

As long as the colony is not a freash import... They love Blasting high light :) They survive fine in lower lighting But UP high is where they shine :)

Start lower then because you do not know where it was propped from BUT then over next few weeks raise it into the light more and more ALSO remeber to feed her well and she will grow fast and strong for you :)

when i feed i should have the pumps off to make sure it gets the food
reef chili and cyclopeeze is what i would feed the micro

Perfect micro foods :)

About an hour or 2 after the lights go out the micro will fully extend her tentacles to feed.. That is when it is best to just rub the cyclopeeze right into its mouth :) The growth will amaze you :)

i see in your home page all the micros you have and was wondering if you saw my id thread for the micro and if you knew what kind it was i thought i was a type of UFO but someone said it wasn't so if you could id it that would be great
