MSX250 or MSX300

I was wondering if the MSX250 would be sufficient for a 280 gal, 50 gal sump volume, with moderate fish load. Would I be better off with the MSX300? The 300 is only listed as rated for 60 gallons more. That doesn't seem like a big jump in size but it's $80 more.

IMO go for the bigger one. also you don't want an overkill skimmer now so 60 gallon more IMO is worth it

I would also get the 300 for that size tank

Thanks for the input. I was planning on getting the 300 but then when I added up the other stuff I'll be needing any day now I was thinking of ways to cut costs. $80 is a lot but once you add everything else up, even on a budget, $80 extra isn't all that much.
