I've seen fires and scarlets kept together many times. Should be just fine together.

Yes. These two should be fine in the same tank. The only shrimp I would be careful of adding is a Coral Banded shrimp (especially when he gets bigger).

this is to don what do you feed the harliqin shrimp?
The Hequin shrimp(Hymenocera picta) is an obligate starfish eater. It can't eat anything esle. It will do wel if given live starfish to eat. Otherwise, it will starve.

some are fairly passive, but I do agree and think most are a little aggressive....so beautiful though

I have a 3 year old coral Banded, and yes they do get aggressive when they get older. When young, he spent most of his time as a cleaner to the fish. Now he spends his time hunting Chromis.
He shares the tank with 2 cleaner shrimp which he showes no aggression toward.
