Dosing Phosban no skimmmate

I have been using phosban for awhile. I stopped for about 4 months then noticed some algae coming back so i put some back in there, only a 1/4 of the recommended dose. After about 6 hrs the skimmer lost its head and has not come back even after playing with it for awhile. Anyone else have this happen?

Used to be on some my older skimmers when I changed carbon, or the phosban the skimmer would lose it's head. Selcon does the same thing to it.

I hve never heard of that. I think it may be something else. How are you using the Phosban? Reactor? Bag?

media is in a reactor carbon--->phosban Im running a finicky aqua euro 135 recirc. It has never done this before, I hate to keep adjusting it because as most know you go a little to faster with valve and boom you get some really wet skimmate. Just in the past hour it seems to be coming back but that could be in my head.
