Sorry, the server is overloaded and I can't do a search.
I'm putting in an order and wanted to get 2 heaters for the schools 75g salt tank...can you believe it hasn't had one for years?!
Someone suggested a stealth. What do you like? How about the super small AP RENA SmartHeater?
Thanks and sorry for the uber basic question.

EBO Jager is a great heater.
Hydor THEO heaters also seem to be very reliable to me.
This is from my own experience...others may say differently.

What I don't like about the stealth, is that you cannot tell if it's on or off by looking at it. They are great heaters though, and so are Theo. Have not had Ebo Jager recently so can't say one way or the other.

A digital thermometer is a good investment too for 6 or 7 bucks.

????? what are you talking about ????

A Chiller Cools the water in the summer.......It does NOT have anything to do with heating the water !!

Ummm someone comes on here asking advice on purchasing a heater and you suggest they buy a chiller??? Did you read the original post??

I'd also suggest Ebo Jaeger. Great heater...even if I can't spell it.

2 150 watt heaters with built in stats would be a good idea

Thanks everyone! I agree, having two heaters is a good failsafe...will do it, but what are built in stats?

Guess no one knows about the Rena Smartheater...I like the idea of it because it is so small it could fit in my wet/dry, which will someday be replaced by a sump, but I'm overwhelmed by that right now.

The guy who suggested a chiller is from California...maybe he's never had to heat a tank in winter.;) Hopefully, I'll never have to chill a tank!

I've been using the ViaAqua titanium heaters for 5+ years with no problems. They have a seperate thermostat and temp sensor and are very accurate.
