Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone has built one. I know deltec sells one for $1200 but I cant see why. I was ondering if one can be built using the parts on the links below and maybe a windshield wiper. I am willing to test and experiment with my skimmer but would like some feedback first on the parts to be used just incase there are parts that would be better.
Motor:

* Car wiper blade cut to size.
* a digital timer and or my aquacontroller to control and wipe every hour.
My concers are:
* Motor cannot handle to friction cased by the wiperblade
* Motor gets moisture and rust
* Motor shaft rusting
