Today I came in possession of a yellow tang about the size of a half dollar. I purchased some seaweed for it but on the back of the pack it says "This product should be used as a supplement to other food sources." So is this stuff food or a snack? And also I have some Rod's Food Herbivore Blend from a LFS, will the Tang eat this and if so will it be a sufficient diet item.

he needs some meaty foods too, just offer a wide variety. They are not picky. He should have seaweed to graze on whenever he pleases.

Sounds like the Rod's will be fine then. It has a lot of extra stuff in it.

Feed some Rod"s herbivore and the "regular" Rod's.
