I have a 14 gal biocube and i have the korilla wave maker attachemtn on the sump pump and a korilla nano ph It seems like its a lot of current the clown i have.. looks like he's struggling in the tank. Is all that flow necessary if i'm only keeping zoas, mushrooms, 1 kenya tree and a torch soft coral.
is the wave make enough for the varied flow or is it better with the ph.
I pointed the nano up to the surface to slow things down in the middle is that ok?

well you are at 28 gph turn over, that is fine with lps and softies, the clown will be fine, dont worry about him he will get used to it. is that ALL the flow you have?

Have you observed clowns before? There swim pattern could be taken for struggling, but they are very hardy swimmers. My reef has much more flow then your system but the clowns do fine.

Enjoy.
