nassarius snails........

my lfs told me it would be alright to put them in my tank, and my pinkspotted goby made a short dinner outta them!!! the lfs said they wouldn't touch them!!! any one else have that problem??

only 3. but i just wouldn't have bought them if i new they were gonna be dinner for my fish!!! it's not about the money

I am guessing that they were the small ones. If you want nass snails should try the super Tonga ones, they are quite a bit larger, and would expect too large for your goby.

Sorry to hear about that. I knew that they could eat small shrimp from time to time, but never hear of them eating snails.

I've never heard of that either. Usually fish that gulp their food won't eat things with shells. Hopefully he'll be able to pass the shells because he certainly doesn't have the teeth to crush them.
