Is this needed for good zoa/paly growth?

If so do you just feed them with a turkey baster or something along those lines filled with ...?

For polyps that inhibit prey catching ability like some palys or protopalythoas and maybe some zoanthus gigantus ( correct me if I'm wrong ), those will pretty much eat what you give them, IE' a mysis, brine, pellets, flake, cyclopeeze etc.... I mostly feed only my propalythoas and other polyps that actually capture and eat floating food.

Feed all the fish and inverts in the tank first. Once they are all full, turn off all the water current. and use a turkey baster or what ever you can use to apply the food directly onto the polyp and its mouth. Wait 10-15 mins after they've closed and turn pumps back on.
