pink birds nest question

I had my birdsnest for about 2months now. it seems that the polyps only open and night and in morning before lights come on. Then today i saw them all open to a point i never saw before was checking a few things and noticed my temp in tank was at 83 where ive been keeping it at around 76. do the birdsnest like higher temp? should i try to keep tank at around 79ish?

My tank is ually between 78-80 my pink bn was slow growing for the first 2-3 months, I now has been in my tank for over 7 months and grows new branches weekly. It will start to take off shortly. Just keep your water params stable and your 76 temp is fine. If it jumps every day from 76 to 83 it may be an issue.

thanks, my heater was stuck on, was the only reason temp got that high. its been pretty steady at 76-77 till today.
