One of my Zoa Colonies got run over by my new BTA which has found his spot and doing well! But the Zoe's have not opened for 3 days now. My question is , can they recover from this sort of damage?

Yes they can.

Have you moved them away from the BTA?

It wouldn't hurt to put them in a little higher current location and/or clean them occasionally with a turkey baster for a day or two.

I can't give you a guarantee, but zoas are fairly hardy.

I have found zoa frags fallen into a group a rics, buried in the sand, etc. and somehow they survived!

Ok, Thanks Ontosrob.
I will blow them off with the baster and kick up the flow a bit and hope for the best. The BTA ended up on the other end of the tank and there is nothing else within 6" of the Zoas.

one reason i got rid of my anem, ever time he moved he ran over stuff doing damage or killing off stuff. i want one but i want zoa more so i op out of anem.
