Am I killing it?

I bought this acro as "unknown Bali acro" Here is a pic shortly after I bought it, and placed it about 5 or 6 inches under water below a 150 12k reeflux, it started to encrust and looked decent, I recently purchased 250watts and I am for the time being using the stock current 250 10ks.

Problem is now this coral has turned completely brown and has lost ALL polyp extension. Am I burning this coral up? I moved it to about 1/3 the way up from the bottom and it seems to be getting some polyps opening at the tips.

It will come back. I did the same thing then moved it 3/4 of the way down from the top and it has been about two months and completely recovered.

I'm hoping, I'd really like to see wht color it will turn out to be! Guess I should of posted parameters, sorry. All other sps are kickin with the new lights!
