SO did the test and it took 2 full syringes (1 ml each) and another .3 from a 3rd syringe to turn color. What is my alk level then??? Confused a little here, help would be really appreciated. Worried that was thinking alk was low when in might be really high..

read the instuctions they will give you the proper amount of water and reactive agent to mix for the right results.

ok I understand most of it, but the chart is only for 1ml total. The way I understand it is the more you squirt into the chamber the higher the ALK level, concerned could be misunderstanding this, cause at the end you flip the syringe over and count the number of lines that are present from the tip to the top of the plunger itself. after counted you compare to the chart that comes with test kit. So If I count say 10 lines, is it .10 left or .90 spent. Can't figure if read the amount spent or the amount left.

well the less regent left means the reading is higher, for example 0.76 left means 3.8, and 0.16 left means 13.4, so based on your measurement your dkh is 43.2, h--mmm doesnt sound right does it?

After you flip the syringe over, just read the number that aligns with the top of the plunger.

so if it is 43.2.. what should I do???
