Flickering Lights

When my ATO's (Reefanatic) float turns on my lights flicker like they want to turn on but dont. Almost like a flash. These are the stock PC lights that come with the Biocube 14. Both daylight and actinic (seperately connected to a stock ballast) do the same but not when they are on. Only when they are off is when they flicker/flash. I just connected the ATO to the DC8 and it wasent doing it when it was connected thru the wall. Any fixes to this? Any questions or info I might have left out I will be more than happy to answer. Some ballasts will flicker when controlled by triacs (the electronics that controls poer 1-3, 5-7 on the DC8). Try using port 4 or 8 (which are relay controlled).
