I posted this on the Newbie Forum last night but no response..thought I'd try here.

I'm trading in my MJ 1200 (with the mods) because they are TOO LOUD. I've bought a couple of TUNZE 6025s to go in their place. Their website says not to hook them up their PHs to anything BUT a Tunze controller. I've heard lots of stories both ways (and probably will do the same here)...but I don't want to kill my pumps right away. The smallest "controllable" pump Tunze makes is the 6055 which is too much $$ and too much flow for my taste. Would I be better off keeping the new ones off the Wavemaster? Switching my controller? Or just leaving them on a regular timer pointed such that I get some random flow and have them running every 15 or 30 minutes? Thanks for any help!

There is no Tunze controller for a 6025 since they are not controllable pumps. Its is not a great idea to turn non controllable pumps on and off. If you do, dont do it often. Every 15min is the shortest interval I would try.

Thanks sjm! I'm gonna try and make it work on 15 minute intervals...

You should place this post on the " Tunze/Sponsor Forum."
