I just bought this camera yesterday and am totally new to DSLR....lots to learn :D. I wanted to show others the type of pictures they could take with the lens included in the kit (18-55......I don't even know what that means yet). Before I purchased this camera I was wondering what type of in tank shots you could get with the lens, so for anyone else wondering, here's a couple. Remember I am totally new to this and am not showing great pictures here :D.

Nice pics and that lens has pretty good bokeh. The new stock 18-55 is so much better than the one that came with my XTi.

I ended up upgrading to the EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM because my stock lens was so bad. Its like night and day to my stock lens, no comparison.

Good luck with your new toy!

Thanks, I have a lot to learn. I'm reading as much as I can in this forum to get things figured out. I'm also playing around with the camera as much as possible to see how each setting works. It's a bit overwhelming to me thus far but in time I'll figure it out.
