I can't tell by the picture, blurry, but I beleive they are Stomatella Snails. Google them and see.

They are a cross between snail and a slug. They only have 1/2 of a shell on their backs. They are good scavengers and are NOT pests!

not stomatellas - have have loads of them and they don't have a pointed shell like these ones.

I just checked both of my clams and they are snail-free. I checked the clams at night too. Seems like the snails were only on the glass, rock and sand bed mostly where I have problems with cyano.

Look like pyramid snails to me. I had them in my tank once, eating on my snails. They're species specific, in that if they come on a certain type of snail then that's what they eat, not all types of snails.

I have never seen Pyramidellid Snails on the glass before just on snails and clams which makes me think that they are something else.

Yeah but if the host dies they will bail off of the host and look for a new one. Not saying its 100% but it may be.

You sure that its not possible for a single snail to have died? I know that there is no way I'd know if one did in my tank. Like I said, I'm not saying that it is for sure pyramid snails, just that it appears that way to me.
