Hey guys,
I'm posting on a few of my corals that are probably all having the same issues. This is a big piece of red meat i have had for about 3 months. Recently it has begun to seriously retract from the skeleton which one fish store said may have been from too high of an introduction to calcium and buffer. I have since cut back on the calcium addition to work it in but It still is falling away. Any suggestions? I have added to koralia powerheads and upgraded my lights to aquatinics tx5 about 2 weeks ago.

Try the LPS forum.

Gonipora is does not have a good track record in the marine aquarium. Did you upgrade your lights and flow after or before the introduction of both corals? Neither the brain or goni will do well with too direct flow or light.

What are your other parameters? Where are they placed in the system. Have these answers available when you go over to the LPS forum.
