I was wondering if anyone has used a product called holdfast from marineland. it is an epoxy that the lfs said I could use to bond coral frags to live rock. The LFS guy said it would bond to wet rocks. I would like to bond small softcorals which are on small rocks to larger rocks in the tank. so I dont want to leave thhr frag rocks out of the water for very long. Has anyone used this product I am a bit hesitant as there is not much info on the package.

Thanks
Tom

i just bought a stick. i think it works just as good as anyother 2-part putty.

I really liked it. You usually have about twenty minutes or so before the epoxy becomes to firm to mold once activated. I bonded most of my stuff underwater so you won't have any problems with the wet rock.

Yeah, it works well but it always causes micro bubbles for the first eight hours or so in the water. Knead it well for several minutes prior to using, you won't have any issues with wet rocks.
