Ive got a stand for my 75g its prolly a little over 2 years old and has seen its fair share of splashes and so forth. Am i able to still use this stand or should i buy a new one.

I would say yes as long as theres no swollen wood or obvious damage.

Hard to say without seeing it. If your needing someone to help justify buying a new one, I say go for it :)

If you dont trust it then get a new one. I've lost many a nights sleep over tank issues.

My 150 stand set outside for 5 years and it has now been set back up for 1 year with no problems.

Darn, I'm older than anybody's stand and I've yet to have one fail. They will probably outlast me, unless made of particle board.;)

I doubt it would be an issue. A 75 gallon won't weigh so much that it takes a lot of wood to keep it up. Unless there's a lot of obvious warping on the supports, I would surely reuse it.

As long as the frame is solid it should be good to use. If your going to lose sleep over it then get a new one.

Looks alright to me. I'd clean it down and put a fresh coat of paint on the inside, but if you don't want to go to the trouble I'm sure it would be fine.

paint and use it... you should be just fine.

Any decent paint will be fine. I have been seeing lots of epoxy paint used lately for the inside of the stand. I don't know id it comes in black but I guess this is the chance to paint it any color you wish... :).
