Coral banded eating snails...

I have had numerous large snails die in my tank. Just recently I got two more big ones and it looks like one of them is dead behind some LR. I have a large coral banded shrimp that lives back in that area of the tank and it looks like he might be eating at the snail a little; but I don't know if he actually killed it. Has anyone else heard of coral banded killing snails?

Yeah, they will pick a snail to death. I don't know if they intentionally kill them, but they certainly will eventually kill slow-moving snails that stay exposed near their territory.
