This is my first post but I was wondering can anyone recommend or point me in the right direction on what kind of protein skimmer I should get for a 72 gallon bow? This is my first tank and I'm still setting it up but obviously I still need a few things one of them being a skimmer.

I don't know if this will help but here are my plans. 50 pounds of base rock and anywhere from 25 to 35 pounds of live rock. From what i've researched the live will eventually seed the base rock. After that I plan on stocking my tank with a good amount of fish and getting coral is still up in the air. Hopefully that helps and thanks ahead of time.

I have a Deltec MCE600 on my 72 gal bowfront

it works very well

Do you need a in-sump or hang on back skimmer?

Well I'll be running a Flurval 403 filter down below so I'm guessing a hang on back unless there is anyway I can get a protein skimmer that sights below. That would be ideal but hang on back will work.
