can someone post a link that will tell me what a QT is all about and like, what is fine for a QT. i never really ever set one up and i guess i've been pretty lucky but now that my fish are all pretty healthy i'm like kinda worried about gettin new fish.
i guess what i'm wondering is can i use let's say, my fuge as a QT? like im kinda confused, do i have to like start a whole new set up just to have a QT? where would the water come from? can it be shared like my fuge or does it have to be like completely separated? if its separate, then how do i get the tank to, i dunno, i guess purify the water and have stable conditions for the couple of weeks since my live rock and all that makes the saltwater purified etc.
if i can't use my fuge, maybe im totally confused but can i just put the fish in a small fish bowl and then keep changing the water using my DT? but then i'll need a heater? and a power head? what's the most basic QT i can have? i'm so confused.
