I have 2 power strip and plan to add a third, Does it matter which one of the existing power strips do I hook the USB connection for a 3rd power strip?

Each PU has an ID. When you connect the new PU to (any USB port) the system, the controller recognises the new PU.
if you now want to use the new PU to do the job of one of the other PU's , proceed as follows.
Connect the new PU to the system.
Name PU1,2 & 3
Save the configuration as, say (Roger old +1)
then open the saved config and locate the PU you want to move to the new PU.
OK, sounds complicated. not so.
You are going to add a new PU to your system. You are then going to save this configuration to the configuration file.
When you now open the configuration file the software now checks if the configuration is compatible. (same no of PU's, temp probes, etc) you then have to apply the old config to the new.
So you can now make the old PU1(tank pu1) (filter pu3) and all programs for tank pu1 will be transferred to filter pu3.
the same will apply for probes, temp & level sensors. Dosing pumps as well.
Be aware!!! use this info with caution and ALWAYS TEST TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ASIGNED THE CORRECT PU TO YOUR PROGRAM LOGIC:bigeyes:

While it does not matter which one you connect it to, I would suggest that you connect it to your first powerbar. This would mean you would have both your second and third being run from the first.
Reason Why:
If you connect them in a daisy chain it would mean that if the first or second bar failed the third bar would also go down. If you do it my way then only the first bar failing can take down the third.
