So last night, Angie calls me into the room to watch one of our Emerald Crabs. Somehow, it'd managed to get up onto our DIY frag rack. I know crabs are able to swim, but have never witnessed it in our tanks, however, this is the only way it could've got where it was.
This is one of our larger Emeralds and it was dancing around all our coral frags, knocked one over...lol. Pretty soon, it started paying particular attention to a couple specific frags....sooo, getting a little worried, I started paying particular attention to it's claws and mouth....especially since one of those frags was a Zoanthid. Just wanted to make sure it hadn't developed an apetite for them. Turns out, it was eating algae off of the frag plugs. It even turned a few over to get to algae on the bottom. I grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots of it for kicks. Here they are:

Our Sixlined Wrasse felt he wasn't getting enough attention.

The mixed stories you hear on emeralds are unbelievable. Its a love-hate relationship people have with the mithrax family.
Nice pics!
