My Kenya tree, which is usually around 7in around has shrunk to a 2in diameter. It's balled up as tight as tight can be, and it's been like that for a 3 days. I've seen my yellow leather do something similar when it was shedding and then expand back to normal. Do Kenya trees do something similar? Everything else in the tank is flourishing (leathers, colt coral, torch, zoos, mushrooms, xenia, candy canes, monti's). I run carbon 24/7 to avoid any chemical warfare.

High alkalinity? Mine did that with massive water changes, when 14 dKH water was added. Wit 6-6.5 dKH it was better.
Also mine likes food, that compensates lower light.
I had it with all corals, you named, except leathers, colt and zoas were small.

>>High alkalinity?
I second that. Preferred by the rest of the corals, but disliked by colts for some reason.
