I bought the JNS Grape Watermelon earlier this year and I was wondering if anyone had any information on it being a Limited Edition or not. I searched online for it but I didn't find anything. Does anybody have any information on it? Here is a picture of it.

What does "JNS" stand for? Know of the SPSToner Grape Watermelon, which is considered to be an LE coral, although not a Tyree (yet?). Yours looks alot like it, but may be a different coral. Check out Reefready, they probably still have a good pic of it posted, and check the chalice thread for some comparisons. Great coral whatever it is.

I am trying to find out what JNS stands for also. The person I bought it from is no longer in the hobby and I can't find anything online. It does look just like the one on ReefReady's website. I am going to ask SPSToner, maybe he will know the person I bought it from, worth a shot at least.

Got mine from Matt @ RR, but it is tiny (the frag was good, just receded on me instead of growing). Almost lost it and working on bringing it back. Hopefully will have some comparison pics sometime in the near future.

Matt got his from me. In fact, he is the one who named it. I don't think it is the same one you have there, Shramj, but your's looks pretty cool too.

Ok, thanks for your help SPStoner, I was hoping to get more of a background on the coral but that is pretty hard when the person I bought it from is no longer in the hobby. I appreciate all the help.

Yeah, JNS (Jerry) is still around a little, but not importing like he used to. He is part of our local club and there are A LOT of really cool pieces that he brought in. As far as it being a LE piece, I don't think it is, but it should be, and JNS is his screen name, his initials I believe
