so i went to this saqle today and picked up some new stuff for my 20gallon 8lbs of lr brings me up to almost 25lbs of live rock and a fire fish and a corcea clam and some star polyps...these pics were taken an hour after everything was put in.

im not to sure y the star polyps are not opening.. its been an hour :(

They should be fine, give them some time, the are very difficult to harm. In fact you may be sorry once the take off and dominate the tank!:D

Star polyps can take a week or more to open, I wouldnt worry about it. They just need time to acclimate.

Tell us about your light. Crocea clams require a LOT of light, easily as much as any stony coral, and I fear you may be a bit short in that department. They're also a rock dwelling clam, and may prefer to be in the top of your rockwork.

if the glo t5 by hagen are your only lighting source, i would look into something that has at least 4 bulbs and quality reflectors to keep the clam happy. I would place it at the top for the time being

he is at the top and was before but knocked himself off earlier i just moved him back up to the top....we are working on a deal at the moment for an upgrade for that tank to a 75 gallon with mh lighting
