It would be hard to comment as described. Can you test for TDS?
Water quality is at the top of the list when it comes to reef keeping. I would be getting some infoermed opinions. better to err on the side of caution.

Did you spill any water underneath the container? What kind of container is it in?
I don't think I would put it in unless I could find out for sure that it was something else.

I would see what a TDS meter reads. If its close to zero then I would run the water thru a charcoal filter before using it. 100g is a good amout of water to waste.

I use a large plastic container to store water in. Sometimes mine gets a funny smell, not sure I would call it mildew. If tds is good you are probably ok.

I agree Clark. I'd say it would be fine as stored RO/DI is used by many, many reefers.

Check the tds. I use stored water all the time.

Your asking the unknown........YA it should be good, BUT you need to to check the TDS in the water.

I have had RO/DI water sit for weeks & the TDS was fine.

I have also had RO/DI water read bad after a few weeks.

You have to read the TDS. Thats how you will know for sure. Anything other then that is just from our experience & opinion

How long do you store it Tom

I go through 3 gal a day of ro/di water a day and the pail holds 25 gal--so it doesn't sit long

However the salt water pail holds 25 gal and is usually prepared for up to two weeks---I keep a power head in that bucket to keep it circulating.

I do a 5 gallon a day water change and keep a 16 gallon container pretty full with salt water most of the time drawing ro/di for the mix from the 32 galon brute in which I store ro/di. I also use about 4 gallons a day from the 32 gallon ro/di container for limewater used as top off. So about 9 gallons total per day from a 32 gallon container plus whatever else is used during siphoning and other maintenance maybey another 2 gallons per day on average. So it turns over roughly once every 3 days.
